VW Art

A couple of samples of the prints I produced for the exhibition.

King's Lynn Art Centre

Took part in a works group exhibition, used the VW collection. On reflection I was directed in curatorship to display them in this way, the  circular format was stronger.
I did like the insect feel, but preferred the army of thing.
Really, really love this one, always find them full of detail.
Detail of bus falling off the stack.

My friend and work colleague Paul Ebbens, whose works huge scale complimented mine in an unexpected way!!
Fantastic colours, textures and process rich work. A huge inspiration and influence to me.

VW Festival

Slip castings in white stoneware, individually remodeled or customised, such ridiculous details as  lowering the suspension, or raking were very fun details to do!!
The collection is developing an energy or life of its own, quite an achievement for a duplication process.

The number is building. Some are now bisque fired others are still green ware.
All are sprayed with both iron and manganese oxide and are also sprinkled with the stuff.
 Some of the stacked versions.
First samples are out of the kiln, fired to stoneware - 1280.
